You may have noticed that the
gallery page just says "coming soon"; not very original I
know, but it's on its way - promise. Basically I've had
problems with my old Sony digital camera. It kept creating
artifacts on the photos so it pretty much screwed
everything up. So you couldn't tell if we'd done a good job
or not.
Then we had some decisions on what our gallery page should
look like. Before & After seems like a good way to go.
And we'll probably have a few videos to complement the
photos. I something think that the videos can get more
across, especially when you're try to explain a few
problems you've come across.
I received a nice new digital camera today with 12
Megapixels and HD video recording, so look forward to some
juicy images of cracks, damp, holes, filled in cracks and
holes and treated damp. You never know I may have some
instructional work on there too.
I've already found a few scripts to take control of the
photos and show them in a fun kind of way. I'll have to see
what we can do with the videos and what format we do the
videos in? As I use an iMac (best machine on the planet) I
would go for Apple Quicktime every time because it looks
great and it's native to my machine. But if you've got a PC
which is a bit of blunt tool then you may struggle with QT
and would probably prefer something a little more blocky or
grainy like Windows media; boo hiss!
